This curated itinerary combines iconic historical monuments, hands-on masterclasses with local artisans, high-speed bullet train travel, and full-board dining throughout.

Program

Day 1 – 28 October | Arrival in Tashkent

  • Arrival at Tashkent Airport.
  • Airport pickup, transfer to the hotel for check-in, and time to rest.
  • Evening
    • Welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2 – 29 October | Introductory Tashkent City Tour

  • Guided city tour visiting the bustling Chorsu Bazaar, Independence Square, and the Museum of Applied Arts.
  • Stroll through Amir Temur Square and the local artists’ street (“Broadway”).
  • Evening leisure time and dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3 – 30 October | Cultural Treasures & Flight to Khiva

  • Visit the newly inaugurated Center of Islamic Civilization to view ancient manuscripts and the 7th-century Quran of Uthman.
  • Explore Khast Imam Square, the historic religious center of Tashkent.
  • Hands-on ceramics masterclass with the Rahimov family in the craftsmen district, designing your own custom piece.
  • Transfer to the airport for the domestic flight to Urgench 
  • Transfer to Khiva and hotel check-in.
  • Dinner in the historic Old Town of Khiva.

Day 4 – 31 October | Exploring the Ancient Citadel of Khiva

  • Full-day guided sightseeing tour through the ancient, preserved streets of Khiva.
  • Discover historical and architectural gems that are integral to regional and Islamic history, including:  Kunya-Ark Fortress, Mohammed-Amin-Khan Madrassah, Islam Khodja Minaret, Jami Mosque, Pakhlavan Mahmoud Mausoleum,  Tash Hauli Palace.
  • Dinner at a traditional restaurant in Khiva.

Day 5 – 1 November | High-Speed Train Across the Kyzylkum Desert to Bukhara

  • Board the high-speed train crossing the Kyzylkum Desert to Bukhara 
  • Transfer to the Old Town and check in to the boutique hotel.
  • Guided tour of historic Bukhara, including the trading domes, Lyabi-Hauz complex, Magoki Attori Mosque, and Poi Kalyan complex.
  • Dinner in Bukhara’s Old Town.

Day 6 – 2 November | Historic Bukhara & Miniature Painting Workshop

  • Tour the Ark Fortress, 10th-century Samanid Mausoleum, and Bolo Hauz Mosque.
  • Exclusive visit to a master miniature painter’s workshop for a hands-on drawing session.
  • Free time for shopping in the ancient bazaars or relaxation.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 7 – 3 November | Sufi Pilgrimage Sites & Bullet Train to Samarkand

  • Visit the Mausoleum of Bahauddin Naqshband, a major Sufi pilgrimage destination.
  • Tour Sitorai Mokhi Hossa, the historic summer residence of the last Emir of Bukhara.
  • Board the high-speed train to Samarkand 
  • Hotel check-in upon arrival.
  • Dinner in Samarkand, followed by an evening view of the illuminated Registan Square.

Day 8 – 4 November | Samarkand Marvels & Traditional Plov Masterclass

  • Guided exploration of Gur-e-Amir (Mausoleum of Tamerlane – the prototype for the Taj Mahal!), walk along the famous Tashkenskaya Street,  Registan Square, Bibi-Khanym Mosque, and the energetic Siab Bazaar.
  • Meet a local family where you will enjoy  a plov cooking masterclass for lunch!
  • Dinner in Samarkand.

Day 9 – 5 November | Sacred Monuments, Paper-Making & Return to Tashkent

  • Visit the Shah-i-Zinda necropolis and the newly renovated Mausoleum of Imam al-Bukhari.
  • Drive to Koni Gil village to observe the 7th-century traditional craft of handmade mulberry paper.
  • Board the bullet train back to Tashkent 
  • Hotel check-in and farewell dinner.

Day 10 – 6 November | Final Shopping & Departure

  • Morning
    • Free time for additional shopping or final sightseeing in Tashkent.
    • Check out from the hotel by 12:00 PM.
    • Transfer to Tashkent Airport for departure flight.
